Enjoy some of our favorite recipes that have been passed down and curated over the years. They have been shared with our customers through special events, wine dinners and more.

Chocolate Wine Cake
1 box devil's food cake mix of choice
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9oz)
4 eggs
1 c Missouri Norton Red Wine of choice
1/2 c vegetable oil
1 c chocolate chips of choice

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a bundt pan with butter or oil spray.

Mix together cake mix and instant pudding mix. Add eggs, red wine and oil, mixing on high for 2 mins. Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour mix into a greased bundt pan. Bake for 45 mins and check for cake to be baked through - can check with a toothpick. Bake in 5 min increments until cake is cooked through. (Can take up to 60 minutes depending on moisture). Can top with a Ganache or powdered sugar

Chocolate Wine Crinkle Cookies
1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1 lg egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 c Missouri Port of choice
1 c flour
1/2 c + 2 tbps unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips of choice​
powdered sugar for rolling

Mix butter, sugar and brown sugar together until smooth. Add egg, vanilla extract and wine until thoroughly mixed. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix dry and wet ingredients until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Cover dough and place in fridge for 3 hours (or up to 3 days).
Remove from fridge and allow to sit at room temp for 10-20 mins to soften. Preheat oven to 350F.

Roll dough into balls around 1-2 tbps each. Roll each ball in granulated sugar and then powdered sugar. Place approx. 3 in apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 11-12 mins.

Cool for 5 mins and transfer to cooling rack to cool completely, then enjoy!

Olive Oil White Wine Cookies
2 c flour
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/3 c olive oil
1/3 c Missouri Vidal Blanc wine
zest of 1 lemon
sugar for rolling
powdered sugar to finish

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt until well combined. Add olive oil and wine to mixture and combine until dough forms. Zest lemon into Dough. Working with dough will be similar to a bread dough. It will be slightly oily, keep folding it into itself until well blended.

Roll into a log and chill for 1 hour. Cut pieces - about 18. Roll each piece into a ball then roll into sugar and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Press down cookie with a flat spatula or the bottom of a glass.

Cook for 15- mins or until bottoms are golden brown.

Let cool completely before coating in powder sugar, then enjoy!
